Privacy policy
Your private notes stay on your device unless you choose to share them.
1. Notes and local files
You can use pinaMemo without creating an account or supplying a name or phone number. Text you enter stays in your current browser tab and is saved only to a JSON file on your device when you choose to save. We do not upload note contents to a pinaMemo database.
Web page title lookup
When you save a web link without entering a title, the URL is sent to pinaMemo’s Cloudflare Pages Function, which requests the public page to look up its title or product name. The destination website may retain technical request logs according to its own policies. Your other sticky-note content is not transmitted in this process. Product cards may load public product pictures directly from third-party image hosts. The image URL is stored in your local JSON file, and the request does not send a referrer header.
2. Visiting the website
Cloudflare, our hosting provider, may process technical information such as IP addresses, request timestamps, and security logs to deliver and protect the website under its own policies. The standard release does not include a separate pinaMemo real-time visitor dashboard or custom error reporting service.
3. Cookies and analytics
The current release does not include Google Analytics or Google AdSense tracking code. Hosting and security features may use necessary cookies or similar technologies. If analytics or advertising is enabled later, we will update this policy and implement required notices and consent mechanisms.
4. Email inquiries
If you email us, your email address and message are used to respond to your inquiry. We keep this information only as needed to answer your request or fulfill applicable legal requirements. Contact: thevanhalen@gmail.com.
5. Retention and deletion
Notes on the current board disappear when the session is closed or refreshed. JSON files stay wherever you saved them until you delete them yourself. Website technical records may be retained by the hosting provider according to its published policies.
6. Sharing and processors
pinaMemo does not sell or share your note text. Website infrastructure and email providers may process the relevant technical and correspondence data needed to operate their services.
7. Your privacy rights
You can edit or delete notes directly and remove saved JSON files. For questions about access, correction, deletion or other privacy rights concerning information we hold, email thevanhalen@gmail.com.
8. Security
Avoid entering highly sensitive data on shared computers. JSON note files are not encrypted by pinaMemo.
9. Changes
We may revise this policy if the website or applicable law changes. The latest text and update date will be published on this page.
